Mission and interests
Among his favorite saints are Saint Charles de Foucauld and Saint Joseph Allamano (canonized on 20 October 2024). Their witness moves him to seek God’s will, to share his faith with joy, and to serve generously wherever the Spirit leads. During his missionary years he remarked that when God calls you, He never lets you go.

He speaks Spanish, French, and English fluently, and he can converse in Italian and Swahili. Outside formal ministry he enjoys cooking, which he sees as a creative way to gather people around the table and build community.
