Sponsor a Poinsettia

This is a great way to honor a loved one or remember a deceased family member. Click on and return this form with your donation by Wednesday, December 11 to ensure that your loved one is included in the Christmas bulletin. Place the completed form and payment in an envelope marked “Poinsettia order” in the collection basket or bring to the parish office. Deacon Jon Fincher Ordination in Rome

Ordination to the transitional diaconate marks the last stage in seminary formation before ordination to the priesthood. On Thursday, October 3, 2019, members of the Class of 2020 will be ordained in the Order of Deacon at St. Peter's Basilica in Rome. Deacon Jon Fincher and other young men from the North American College are on their journey to the priesthood at the Chair of Peter in Rome. Congratulations to Dcn. Jon Fincher, from St. Pius X Church, and his parents, Cecilia and Joe Fincher!

End of Life Discussion Series

Service and Outreach Committee of St. Pius X hosts - End of Life Discussion Series. Ashlie Casey is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with twenty years of experience in hospice and palliative care in Oklahoma. She is passionate about helping to life the veil of mystery and misconceptions surrounding "hospice" and enjoys the opportunity to broaden end-of-life discussions in the community. Presentations begin on September 26 through October 23, on Thursday evenings at 6:30pm in Dorney Hall, refreshments are provided.

Discipleship Catholic Youth Conference, October 19, 2019

DCYC is an annual Discipleship Catholic Youth Conference for high school students. DCYC is a day-long experience of faith, fun, and fellowship hosted by the Diocese of Tulsa & Eastern Oklahoma. The schedule includes prayer, Mass, keynote addresses, nourishment, Confession, praise and worship, and recreation. The registration fee includes the conference, breakfast, lunch, and dinner!
DCYC is scheduled for October 19, 2019, at the UMAC of Union High School located at 6836 S. Mingo Rd in Tulsa, OK. Paul J. Kim, Leah Darrow, and the Sisters of Life will speak at this year's DCYC. Dante Schmitz will provide the music for the day.

2019 Catholic Charities Stuffing Drive

Please help the Service & Outreach Committee in reaching the goal of donating 1200 boxes of stuffing for Catholic Charities.
Boxes of stuffing can be left in the collection area of the church vestibule October 5th through 13th.

The Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, a holy day of obligation in the Church of the United States, will be celebrated with masses as follows:
*Wednesday, August 14: Vigil Mass in English at 6:00 pm
*Wednesday, August 14: Vigil Mass in Spanish at 7:30 pm
*Thursday, August 15: Feast of the Assumption Mass (also School Mass) at 8:30am
